Alma Music & Arts Festival

What a beautiful location for a festival.  On the Mississippi River at the bottom of Lake Pepin, you never know what you'll see driving to the old river town of Alma Wisconsin.

A lady from Rochester MN name of Pam, rushed up to our booth, saying:
"I hoped you'd be here.  I bought "My Enemy's Child" here last year and I saw on your website you had another book out and I want it.  I enjoyed this book (picking up MEC) somuch...oh, there are four volumes?  Ok...quick, I'll take all four...my husband's holding the boat."
That was the first time a boater ever drove in to buy a book.

This event is a real mix of exhibitors and customers with ongoing live music and plenty of food.

Plenty of personal stories which I hope to record and offer as podcasts, if I ever get the time.

And what a drive along the river.
