The Vilhelm Moberg statue, set in the town square to honor the great Swedish writer of The Emigrants books, was scrubbed and looked great as we drove to the exposition area to set up our book-selling stand.  Even before we arranged the books on the table, two inquisitive ladies from the local Sons of Norway lodge, purchased the full Vallkulla set for their library.

Several friends stopped to chat and relate about their heritage or writing ambitions....always nice to hear.  This was the first event where we introduced Vallkulla, books two and three.  Seems it's just rush to a festival, come home and deal with the next book at the printer, then off to another festival.
