Hjemkomst Festival in Moorehead Minnesota

Well, here was three days of bliss in the Red River Valley of the North.

Plenty of folks from Hostfest (last) and even recent festivals stopped to relate their stories.  Several spoke of their own writing experiences and relatives in the Norwegian Resistance.

I was in an area with three other authors, with other writers located elsewhere in the Hjemkomst facility.  For those of you who haven't seen it, it's worth the drive to Moorhead.

Plenty of little children came by with their folks wanting to try out my fiddle.  Strange, every one of them knew the same tune I started with.

My Enemy's Child did a reversal again, outselling Vallkulla, but not by much.

At the publisher this week and Vallkulla, books 2 and 3 will be out just after the 4th of July.  Book 4 isn't far behind.

I met my great reviewers on the 30th to pick up their manuscript copies with their comments/corrections.  We had a great lunch at Norske Nook in Eau Claire.  What a great bunch of ladies.   One had just returned from Norway and brought me a picture of a genuine seter jente, standing on a hillside, knitting.  Thanks again, Betty.
